Southern Directions: From Los Angeles, Fresno
From Los Angeles, take Hwy 99 to Fresno. In Fresno, take Hwy 41 north to Oakhurst — follow signs to Yosemite. Stay on Hwy 41 going through Oakhurst and follow the signs north toward Yosemite. See “From Oakhurst” directions.
Western Directions: From Merced or Mariposa
Take Hwy 140 east from Merced. Once in Mariposa, turn right on Hwy 49 east, which will take you into Oakhurst. Turn left on Highway 41 toward Yosemite. See “From Oakhurst”

Western Directions: From Madera
Take Hwy 145 east. Turn north on Hwy 41 towards Oakhurst and Yosemite. Stay on Highway 41 through Oakhurst—follow signs to Yosemite. See “From Oakhurst” directions.
Northern Directions: From Sacramento or Stockton
Take Highway 99 south towards Merced. At Merced, take Highway 140 “Yosemite exit.” Stay on Highway 140 approximately 40 miles into Mariposa. Once in Mariposa, turn right on Highway 49 east which will take you into Oakhurst. Turn left on Highway 41 toward Yosemite. See “From Oakhurst” directions.
From Oakhurst:
Sugar Pine is located approximately 10 miles north of Oakhurst. From the 4000 foot elevation sign, the camp turn off (Road 630) is approximately 1 mile. There will be a green sign that says “Sugar Pine 1.” Take the road that veers off to the right just past this sign and follow the signs into the camp—about 2 miles from Highway 41.
