Timber Mountain is Sugar Pine's Junior Camp, specializing in summer programs for 3rd-6th grade campers. At Timber Mountain everyone is a part of the kid-ministry!

Help lead the program team and delegate responsibilities effectively. Good people skills and up-front abilities necessary. Must be a self-starter, fun-loving, and willing to go the extra mile to make the camp program safe and exciting. Prefer applicants to have some leadership experience and have completed at least two years of college.
Choose and lead a variety of songs for our outdoor morning and indoor evening chapel times and campfires.
Must have the ability to lead groups of 3rd-6th grade students in worship, and have excellent accompanying skills on the guitar. Be able to explain what worship is and why we do it.
Will also serve as a member of the program team. Must be a team player, quality musician, and have an evident, contagious love for Christ. We desire that applicants have experience in leading worship and at least two years of college completed.
Counselor responsibilities include: being responsible for his/her campers, living with campers for a week at a time, leading campers in cabin time devotions and assisting in the planning and implementing program and recreation.
Program Team responsibilities may include: planning and facilitating recreation, being involved in skits and chapel games, running Timber Peak, crafts, working with A/V equipment such as Powerpoint and digital photography, as well as other elements of the camp program. Looking for team players who are God-loving, self-starting, and kid-friendly (it doesn't hurt to be a little crazy).
Prefer applicants to have completed one year of college, and have previous ministry experience.
Must maintain a tidy craft center and lead all craft times for campers. Team member will also serve on the program team. Must be a self starter, a willing team member and have a heart for the Lord and the campers that he/she will come into contact with.
Helps maintain the pool and assists with recreational activities. Serves as a member of the program team. Must hold current lifesaving and CPR certificates for duration of summer. Must be at least 18 years of age. Sugar Pine will provide lifeguard training if necessary.
Aids campers with minor cuts, scratches and bruises. Refers campers to area doctors and contacts parents when necessary. Must relate well with campers and parents. Must have a current CPR certificate.
Should be enrolled in Nursing program, have nursing experience, or hold a valid EMT certificate in Madera County. If a nursing student, individual should have completed one year of his/her nursing curriculum.
