Watching an athlete throw all caution to the wind and go “Full Send” is one of the most amazing and terrifying moments. Amazing, because this is what we all dream of doing! Terrifying, because the risks are as huge as the rewards. What if we could live our daily lives in “Full Send” mode? Join us as we explore together how Jesus answers this question, and how He sets us up for success.
Don’t miss this action-packed weekend filled with great opportunities to connect with God and other men. Enjoy activities like fishing, archery tag, shooting range (watch for details), late-night cornhole tourney, axe-throwing and more. Back by popular demand is our afternoon of All-You-Can-Eat Smoked Meats. Bring a friend and your appetite. We’ll see you on the mountain!
Peter Anderson / Speaker
Peter Anderson is a Central Valley kid at heart. He grew up in Atwater, graduated from Fresno State and says the Central Valley is the greatest valley in the world! He met his bride, Sarah, when they were in college and had the good sense to marry her as quickly as he could. Their first kid came two years later in 2009, then again in 2010, then again in 2012, then again in 2014, then again in 2016…. and they are all boys. So he has some experience communicating with guys!
Peter has been a youth pastor in Selma and High Desert, a teacher, and has served as Senior Pastor at Hanford First Baptist since 2018. He loves to communicate biblical truths, develop leaders and grow his church into one that loves God, loves people, and serves the world.
When he isn’t working he likes being in the mountains, reading books, and spending time with his family. If you are going to buy him a coffee, he likes it black (because he’s an adult).
Casey Lucas / Worship Leader
Casey Lucas is a back with us again at Sugar Pine this year! He is passionate about following Jesus, being a great husband and father, leading worship, roasting coffee, and enjoying the outdoors (hiking, snowboarding, fly fishing).
Casey’s been in the coffee business for 14 years now, first as a cafe owner and now as a full-time coffee roaster. He loves being a small business owner alongside his wife (the best business partner!) and getting to partner with other organizations. Leading worship has been an integral part of Casey’s life for the last 20 years.
You will love how Casey and his band set the tone for the weekend and draw us into God’s presence!

The Grill Master will be grillin! We’ll have a variety of meats to sample and you can eat as much as you want – all afternoon!
Want to grill your own trout? A BBQ will be at the pond for guest use.
